Bad Hair Day :-(

Seriously! What product can I use to control this wayward hair?! Someone tells me that you get frizzy hair when it rains. I don't know about that, but can someone please help me with this bed head?!

I Must Burst This Balloon!

I got this balloon at Harry's birthday party yesterday. Great party by the way ;-)! This morning though I simply had to figure out if, and how, it would burst! First I tried giving it a good bash!

Nope, that didn't work. Perhaps chewing it?

Nope, still no luck. Perhaps pinching it?

Hmmm. Nothing seems to work! Perhaps I will give up! Maybe one last try! Will it burst? Check out the video below to see ;-)

 Not sure if having my hands painted was a good idea but this was the end result! I did this at day care the other day. Wondering if mum and day will be up for me doing this on the living room carpet? I think it would be a nice touch ;-)

My First Video

I don't think it will win many awards but this was my first video effort. The sound is a bit naff so no sound engineering academy award. Cinematography on the other hand - outstanding. I could be in consideration with the academy? Not that I know what any of that means! For now I will simply have fun with the camera. Hey its all about doing a job you love right?!

Started Day Care Today

 

Started day care properly today. Mum has to go and do someing called 'work' which seems rather unfair! 

Man I was tired when I got home. I have been to day care a couple of times before on trial days, but today was really the first full time day I had. I don't get much sleep at day care as thee is always something exciting going on that I simply must get amongst! By the time I get home I am shattered! 

Dad came and picked me up. I was a bit over whelmed so broke into tears! This does not mean I am not hardcore folks! Apparently this happens all the time! Either that or I just wanted Mum to pick me up! Best not tell Dad that ;-)

OK to be fair I don't choose my threads, but have a gander at the one piece I used for gardening the other day! Hey it's still cold in Copenhagen and this is just the bees knees. ;-) Trust me every kid will be wearing something like this next winter! You heard it here first folks ;-)

Pimp My Viking Ride!

On my latest trip to Copenhagen (I still have no idea where this is. I get in something called a plane and a couple of hours later I am there. Magic!) I had access to this ride! It's a Viking tricycle! Look at the emblem on the front! It also has a tray on the back to take care of all of my Viking pillaging and plundering spoils! 

I haven't tested its sea worthiness yet, but after lunch I am considering sailing over to England, and then possibly onto North America via Ireland for some Viking pillaging! Be warned residents! 

My First Birthday!

 I don't really know what the concept of a birthday is yet, but despite Mum and Dad being very ill, especially Dad, we still celebrated mine! I also got some new toys to play with so these birthdays cannot be a bad thing! I hope I have one every year! ;-) The above photo was the day of my party which was 4 days after my actual birthday. Birthday photos below.

Apparently these boxes are called presents. Initially I thought the ribbon on them was the best thing!

Eventually I figured out how to get amongst the presents and unwrap them!

Is This What Music Downloads Are?

 Is it all about throwing CDs off shelves? I'm not quite sure. All I do know is that throwing CDs off shelves is a whole lot of fun and I get right in amongst it whenever I can! ;-)

My New Bento Box - Yay I Can Feed Myself!

My Mum and Dad fed me from this funky new plate today. Apparently it's like a Japanese Bento box. Well that's what Dad thinks, I have no idea! Anyway this is what I was fed from this evening. As you can see above I was pretty excited by it! Something new! Yay!

I know how to feed myself, and have been a while with snacks like rice cakes and dried apricots, but this was the first times that I have fed myself dinner! Mum gave me fish cakes which I have never had. As you can see below I was really not quite sure about them at first. They seemed very odd!



After a little while I got into the swing of things and I realised that I liked the fish cakes, so I got in amongst them as you case below.



How cool is that? I can feed myself dinner! Yay! :-)



Anyway no time for celebrations I have to finish off these fish cakes :-)

Yesterday I Was Released On Pitshanger Park!

Wow! I am Loving British Summer Time as it means I get to go play in the park with Dad when he gets home after work! Not only that I am loving the park! OK whoever invented parks knew what they were doing!

Today was the first day that I was 'unleashed' in Pitshanger Park and given room to roam! I love the outdoors and as it has been so sunny and warm this past week I have been getting out amongst it as much as possible.

Loving the warm weather and loving exploring! Keep it coming!

If 2012 Wasn't A Leap Year, Today I would Be One Year Old

Because it is a leap year I am only 365 days old! How does that work? It doesn't seem fair ;-)! Ho hum. Guess I have to wait until tomorrow for my birthday! I am sure it'll be worth the wait! ;-)

Has Anyone Thought Of Using Kittys For Gum Massages?

Has anyone done this before? I think I might become an young entrepreneur and see if I can make some money from this idea ;-). Trust me Kitty Gum Massages are great for teething pain! Works a treat :-)

I don't know what all the fuss is about. This walking thing is easy!

So I may have just started standing, but as shown above, walking seems to be pretty simple. Just hover and wag ones feet about. Simple.

I Am Almost Standing

So apart from being very ill at the moment with a bad cold I am almost standing! I am pulling myself up by whatever means possible. I am very wobbly on my feet but I am sure it won't be too long before I get the hang of it. If everyone else can do it why shouldn't I try! ;-)

On the sickness front, went to the GP yesterday and she said that there are no nasty infections and that I just have a cold. I can sleep through it despite all the coughing but it doesn't make for happy days. I guess I am not used to being sick and its not really that much fun. I hope I get better soon! I am sure Mum and Dad will appreciate that as they might get some better sleep!

Speaking Of Crawling

Learning To Crawl Can Take A While!

So I have been threatening to crawl for about 3 months! The video above shows me at 8 1/2 months almost there, but not quick getting it! Didn't have the coordination to move my legs and arms to get forward motion! So I wasn't getting anyway so in the end I just launched myself forward! Hey it's not elegant, but at least there is some semblance of forward motion!

For about 2 months I had figured out the backwards bit, so I simply turned around and went backwards wherever I went. Hey I thought that was pretty clever. It may have been ungainly but I solved the problem! :-) Where ever I went I usually took my toy of the moment with me as well. Getting to where you want to go is fun, but sharing the experience with someone else, or in my case something else, is far more enjoyable! :-)

At about 9 1/2 months I finally figured it out. By moving arms and legs together forward movement is attainable. Forwards at quite a pace is also possible! ;-). Now I am a crawling demon! There is no stopping me. Oh wait, there is a small thing called stairs that I haven't quite mastered. I am sure I will get there soon enough ;-)

I Don't Wink All The Time, But When I Do ...

It definitely makes Mum and Dad giggle! This was around New Year so perhaps I was just excited by the party?

Ah Mr Fortescue, You Have New Haircut

So I am loving the bath now. I fight to get in! When I hear the taps running in the bathroom I am crawling that way to see what the action is! A huge change since first being bathed in a tiny tub. I was not a huge fan of that.

Of course when Mum and Dad decide to give me a huge quiff its all a bit too much sometimes! ;-) Still it made them giggle, so it cannot be all that bad ;-) What do you think?

My Self Taught Martial Arts Technique - Kee Aii

So I have taught myself Kee Aii! It basically involves my Dad flying me round the room screaming Keee Aiiii, as I clatter my legs into things! To be honest I have no idea what it means but it seems to be fun all the same!

In the photo above though you can see a Kee Aii technique I learnt all myself. Apparently this is know as the eye gouge. Considered to be a rather low move but hey, sometimes you just need your own space! ;-)

Besides. If I am honest Dad doesn't seem too fussed ;-)

I am Going To Be A Guitar Hero

OK so admittedly I might need a little practice! Maybe Dad could help out a little and at least tune the guitar for me!

Guaranteed though, when I am in the top room, my straying hands are going straight back for the guitar! I know where it is now ;-)
